I tried Watch Hockeying on my smart TV, then figured maybe casting from my phone would be easier, but nope, same headache. It either disconnects randomly or just sits there not loading, and then I’m staring at my phone wondering why I didn’t just Watch Hockey something else. The whole reason I wanted to use it was to Watch Hockey on the big screen, so when that part doesn’t work, it kind of makes the app feel useless.

I tried signing up for Watch Hockey, and the payment page made me pause. It might be totally fine, I don’t know, but there just wasn’t much there to make me feel comfortable. I was looking for clearer info about the payment process, card handling, that kind of thing, and it felt a little too bare.
Maybe other people have used it with no issues, and I get that. I just ended up backing out before entering my card. For a paid streaming site, especially one I’m new to, I need the checkout to feel secure and straightforward, and this didn’t really give me that confidence

I paid mainly so I could catch the replays later, but they disappear so quickly that half the time they’re gone when I actually have a chance to watch. Maybe other people are able to jump on them right away, but compared to most viewers who are probably watching around work or life, it just feels way too limited.

Maybe I missed something obvious, but canceling my account took way longer than it should have. I kept wondering if I was doing it wrong, but it really felt more complicated than necessary.

I got charged the wrong amount again, support took way too long to sort it out. i’m frustrated with the billing side of things and it’s making the whole experience feel a lot more annoying than it should

Just a warning for anyone thinking about paying for this: make sure you check the blackout rules first. I signed up mainly to Watch Hockey my team, but a bunch of the games I actually wanted were blacked out. The app itself runs fine enough, but what’s the point of paying if I still can’t Watch Hockey half the games?

I’m not sure if it’s just my setup or what, but the streams kept dropping or sometimes wouldn’t load at all. Support did get back to me, but it wasnt exactly fast. The site works fine sometimes, but the whole account access thing really needs to be smoother.

I also wish they had clearer instructions on what the refund process is supposed to look like or how long it should take. Frustrating overall, and I don’t think I’ll use watch.hockey again
